Many thanks for the delivery of Ash which arrived before 11am yesterday. It was well packed and protected and the finish was excellent. 
The grain and colour was as expected.
I am in the process of making a sideboard / dresser in the modern style which will be painted. The work surface and shelves will be ash. 
There will be drawers instead of cupboards and the whole unit will be mounted on casters for ease of movement.

The wood you recently supplied was excellent in every way.  The pieces were extremely well padded in bubble wrap and delivered on time. The colour and grain of the oak were exactly right and the planed dimensions were 100% accurate.  The timber was required for a furniture repair.  I had only worked with softwoods before, and I had concerns that I might have trouble handling the hardness of oak.  As it turned out I need not have worried, and it proved to be a pleasure to work with.   Thank you.
