This is a natural edged (sometimes called "live edged" or "wayney edged") European oak worktop which we planed and oiled and was then incorporated into this wonderful kitchen.
The wood you recently supplied was excellent in every way. The pieces were extremely well padded in bubble wrap and delivered on time. The colour and grain of the oak were exactly right and the planed dimensions were 100% accurate. The timber was required for a furniture repair. I had only worked with softwoods before, and I had concerns that I might have trouble handling the hardness of oak. As it turned out I need not have worried, and it proved to be a pleasure to work with. Thank you. Richard
