A worktop made from padouk

Here is a worktop we made recently for a client from our stock of Padouk.
Padouk is a vivid red colour with a beautiful grain pattern- over time, it will darken to a mellow brown colour. It is very durable and is ideal for worktops and desktops etc. If you want an instant quotation to your required size, please follow this link here
This worktop is shown awaiting collection from our client- it is bare wood with no finish/oil applied, and the edges are left square for the client to finish off themselves.

The wood you recently supplied was excellent in every way.  The pieces were extremely well padded in bubble wrap and delivered on time. The colour and grain of the oak were exactly right and the planed dimensions were 100% accurate.  The timber was required for a furniture repair.  I had only worked with softwoods before, and I had concerns that I might have trouble handling the hardness of oak.  As it turned out I need not have worried, and it proved to be a pleasure to work with.   Thank you.
