What's going on?

Well..... here at Good Timber we've been busy.

We're passionate about timber, so with that in mind, we've been sorting out our board stores, putting up racking for our timber, ordering new interesting woods, building machines, creating trade price lists, planning our international expansion/world domination, getting our website working properly, organising a better delivery system, oh, and selling timber... the thing we do best.
Seriously, it's been a busy time here as we sort out lots of things that have needed doing for ages. We have lots of new exotic timbers arriving shortly, so watch this space for more details.

    I had never really considered buying wood from an online source before. Until my brother-in-law needed to find a new way to get his hand on a specific kind of wood. He has a laser cutter that he likes to use to make decorative things with. After he and his family had moved, he had to find a different way to get his hands on the kind of wood he preferred to use.

The wood you recently supplied was excellent in every way.  The pieces were extremely well padded in bubble wrap and delivered on time. The colour and grain of the oak were exactly right and the planed dimensions were 100% accurate.  The timber was required for a furniture repair.  I had only worked with softwoods before, and I had concerns that I might have trouble handling the hardness of oak.  As it turned out I need not have worried, and it proved to be a pleasure to work with.   Thank you.
