Good Timber

A garden seat made from oak from our board store .  Quite a project- with 48 mortice and tenon joints! 

This bookcase has been made from American Cherry  from our board store.  The sides extend to the floor and the plinth boards wrap around the base. The fixed horizontal boards are held with biscuits and the front fascia is fixed with dowels. The grain is amazing and the unit continues to darken. Very nice, John!

Our timber has some incredible colours! Recently we have cut hundreds of bowl blanks and spindle blanks for woodturners, and carving blanks for carvers.. it was a big job but well worth it. Some of the colours are amazing! See the pictures below. 

We made an awesome Zebrano worktop for a customer last week. See images below. The worktop was planed from our 54mm rough sawn boards , glue jointed, put through our speed sander, and collected by a happy customer! These pictures are of the worktop before collection, there is no oil finish or anything on it yet, when there is those stripes are going to look incredible. Want one? We've built a CNC machine. It has a working area of 1400mm x 1300mm- and a plunge depth of 200mm. If you need any house signs, text engraving, funny shaped templates, worktop sink cut outs, electric guitar bodies etc let us know! We can do any microsoft font cut into any of our timbers that we stock.  All kinds of sign making, house signs, and engraving jobs undertaken in wood.
